is it possible for me to unlock my phone without having to pay someone £10 to do it for me?


does anyone know how to do it? i have a virgin sony ericsson if that helps..

press the "*" key it should ask for your 4 digit key code, if you know it enter it and if not try the last 4 digits of your phone number...if that doesnt work sorry.

It doesn't work like that.

You can get an unlock code from your network carrier, but they have every right to charge you to unlock it. There's a program called Da Vinci where you can unlock Sony Ericsson phones, however again it isn't free.
