stand up at our desks one day and let all the brown eyed kids sit down to teach us about civil rights. I picked up on what it was about and didn't really care but one blue-eyed kid started bawling a few minutes in. She never did the same thing to the brown-eyed kids, bitch

They did that with us in 6th grade too. Only a bit more extreme...the class was divided in half and one half had to wear signs that said, "Privileged," on it. The other half wasn't allowed to drink from the water fountains on the first floor or play on the playground. The next day we switched.

Is that weird? Elementary school in the states goes to grade 6. S it wasn't just for us. The sad part was that it also had a basketbal court etc...

In New York they go go to grade 6, sometimes 8 if it has a middle school attached to it.

They did something like that to us once, and took it absolutely seriously so that we would learn something real from it... we had to write hundreds of lines about being failures, or something. Oh, it was "I am not at the top, I am the bottom" I think. It's imprinted in my brain! Quite a few people were really upset by it - but I can see the point, I spose.
