I've got $200 to blow on an upgrade to my old '89 Tempo. What, out of the above, should I have done to her?

Get the steering alignment fixed, thats the most major problem

Save it for a down payment on something better? If you had a decent down payment lined up, you could basically steal a car from a dealership.

Why? My next car is gonna be another Tempo and they don't go for $200. Next year there is a light blue GL that is going to be all mine.

Cheapest Tempo I've ever seen was $600, and the only other one for under a grand is that Oxford White $800 GL. Its a junk yard car too. Other then that, I've never seen one go for under $1,000.
