My buick engine is probably seized I tried turning the wheel on the side and I wasn't able to turn it easy. When I get home I'm gonna try again and really pull on that thing. But anyway I wanted to just buy a used car for like 3000-7000. But my parents nagging saying that I should just get my buick fixed.

I'm like fuck that I don't wanna go through putting a fucking new engine in that shit. It's a 93 model the engine got 160,000+ miles on it. I pull in 5k a year. So I am like why not just get a used car at least it fucking runs and won't have 160000 miles on it. My buick engine got rust and all kinds of shit and the brake fluid tank leaks, the heat don't work and it had a bad starter and some of the shit in it don't god damn work.

I don't like doing stuff with nagging parents. I still live with mom and I am legally disabled so fuck taking the bus.

See my dilema

If the car starts, the engine isnt seized.

Perhaps your power steering isnt working?

my buick wont start... the engine dont crank, if it dont turn when I hand crank it when I get home 2morrow then that buick is dead

What does that have to do with age?

it  could help when finding parts, manuals and fixing a car. That why they always ask what year the car on everything. It means something.

He quoted you saying you were turning the engine over.  I figured he thought that had something to do with age.

inb4fail

btw.. 3800s from these cars in JY's will cost between $400 and $600 in good running order.. find someone on the bonneville club to help you swap the motor in. it can be done in a few hours with experience..

-- Posted by IMPALA at 6:06 pm on Dec. 28, 2008

it isnt even that. i like all kinda cars.

its stupid to dump off a car when a whole fucking engine is cheaper than going and getting, re-insuring, re-plating another car.. u no?

-- Posted by snowcone200 at 6:13 pm on Dec. 28, 2008

not if you can afford it. At least it will be a car I actually like and I would love to get a car I actually like. Then theres an incentive to fix it up and everything. Not this buick, was free tho

"the brake fluid tank leaks."

uhhhhhhhhh

The point eric is trying to subtly make here is that the brake system needs to be pressurized, which is why the cap on it is all vacummy and suctiony, and with a leak you gonna die, or get raped.

-- Posted by snowcone200 at 6:22 pm on Dec. 28, 2008

the brake does show signs of loss of pressure when pushed. But it's just another problem that cost money.

Some people just want to drive a car they adore over a car that is cheaper/safer/in better condition.

I sold an almost-perfect-except-no-heat car so I could buy a rusty pickup truck with no mirrors (I bolted one on off a Ford though), no radio, and a duct taped dashboard. Why? Because I adore the little truck, how it looks, how it feels like I'm driving a go-cart, and how I constantly hear things fall off it but never know what it was.

Some people are just a little crazy.

you should just do us all a favor and not post in here anymore you fucking moron.

"another problem that cost money"

i don't know how much you value your life but a $50 part could save a priceless life.. if someone else is in your car with you when it goes out.. you also take someone elses life with you, you selfish prick

don't be fuckin jewish with your money. fix the NECESSARY items on the car.
