East europeans don't usually have kind stereotypes towards americans. See, I want to move there after I get out of college, I want to become a citizen, but I don't want to stick out. according to my history teacher, the hookers sure can   -- Posted by Bud2400 at 9:08 pm on Dec. 26, 2008 You will probably stick out for quite awhile.  If you don't speak German, you'll stick out.  If you do speak German, you will probably have a strong American accent and thus stick out.  If you speak German and somehow have a decent German accent while speaking it, you'll probably have a rather different outlook in terms of politics, your focus on race, your opinion on WWII, etc. that you will stick out.  And even if you do fit in with German society on the whole, you won't fit in with everybody - Germany is a rather diverse bunch (in terms of thought, outlook, personality, intelligence, politics, etc.), even among those who are ethnically German.
