the only thing with any foundation is "moral/ethical" issues or possible harm to the mother

the unborn child doesn't get a chance to live

The biggest one would be that it is murder, since it's consciously taking the life of another human being. Also, the procedures are not without risk. FP

Emotional stress on the mother, the cost, the physical strain, the potential side effects on the mother, the effect of an abortion on the mother's family and friends, and maybe make a hypothesis about something like, how the availability of abortion makes people less responsible about sex or something.

do you have to argue negatives? it's a lot easier to argue the positives

killing a baby that did nothing wrong is horrible that's why.

can cause the mother not to be able to have any more children

the fact that after the baby is gone and the mother is older she regrets it, there has been reports of ladys having dreams about there unborn children and it haunts them for like ever.

when i was little and my mom was pregnant i could not wait for my little brother. at the end she aborted him and i never forgave her. i think if he had a "choice" he would be with me right now. if he was not a human being who the hell is?

1) people have begun to think of abortions as a form of birth control instead of being responsible 2) potential complications and physical harm to the mother 3) Bring up points about how early a fetus develops (to say that you are terminating life) ...etc?

I would imagine that you want to make sure that you're using facts, and not opinions, in your essay, so I would think that using solid things (like cost, time it takes, etc.) instead of personal choice-matters (like how it may or may not effect a family, depression, etc.) would be a good idea.

Yes. Call me traditional, but in an essay I like to use facts and there are SO many myths about abortion to make it sound a hell of a lot worse than it is. Make sure you use reliable sources, and in order to get a good mark you're going to have to bring up points that are pro-abortion and counter argue them. For example, it isn't very logical to argue that abortion is bad because it's dangerous when childbirth is 12 times more likely to be fatal- a one sided argument is not going to get you a great mark so you're going to have to come up with something better than 'it's dangerous'. check out planned parenthood for reliable abortion info (although it is pro-choice they have reliable and unbiased facts about abortion safety and such so that you can make sure that what you're writing about is actually true) http://www.plannedparenthood.org/health-topics/abortion/in-clinic-abortion-procedures-4359.htm#safe
