I smoke weed everyday and never ever feel like i felt on shrooms, although sometimes i do hallucinate from smoking but its like flashes of light and stuff not really anything. they are two totally different highs in my opinion. Granted, shrooms are quite safe....one of the safest drugs there is but whatever. The potential long term effects of psychedelics outweighs the essentially guaranteed to go away effects of marijuana. And I might as well go ahead and point out for the person you quoted that doing shrooms for a year straight would be, well, a waste of money. Sometimes I get strong effects from weed and sometimes I get mild recreational effects from shrooms but shrooms have taken me places a thousand times more intense, extreme and mad than weed has ever brought me. Ok, don't you look dumb.   It's like MDMA being classified as a hallucinogen, yeah colors get brighter and more vibrant but in the end, it's still not a hallucinogen in the sense of actually hallucinating(MDA makes you trip). The laws classification should always be taken with a grain of salt. Marijuana is also considered as a "narcotic", what a joke.
