Does anyone else have the issue with thinking that most pads are no where near long enough in ~length~.  They're all too short... even things like overnight ones.

I don't know if it's just me that has this problem -__-'... because I would htink by now they would have made bigger ones -__-'.

-- Posted by Aerie at 10:03 pm on Dec. 27, 2008

Yeah!! No. I don't have that problem.

Hence the miracles known as tampons...

I wouldn't use tampons overnight.  Lol, I did find a REALLY long one, a new brand... but up until now, I've had to wear an additional light pad onto an overnight -__-, this even still with birth control, which made my period lighter, lol.

I've considered tampons, but for now, I think pads are just easier and more convenient for me... I just wish they'd make longer ones -__-' lmao.

Tampons are a million times better than pads! But when I did use pads I never thought they were too short.

-- Posted by Randomaster at 10:14 pm on Dec. 27, 2008

i use tampons

GOD GOSH - HOW BIG IS YOUR VAG!?!?
>.<

I don't like pads :/ But I don't really like sleeping in tampons as they should be changed faster than the time it takes you to sleep (tampons should be changed ever 4 hours and you should sleep for about 8)

That's why I prefer pads.  I don't always have time to change them, especially when I'll have 7 hours of classes back to back... or 2 hours sitting on a train.  It's also the overnight where this becomes a problem -__-'.

But even so... I have yet to find anyone else that has the same complaint I do, though I'm pretty sure my mom had the same problem -__-'.

Well that's true... lol.

And WITH birth control =0 you poor thing, I would hate that so bad!

It's a little out there, but you might look up the diva cup. I have issues with being too heavy and they hold a lot, so it's supposed to simplify everything and they work fine overnight. I'm still not completely sold on the idea, but I'm thinking about getting one to try it out.
It's at least something to look into.

Lol, it's worth checking into... I hate being on vacation and stuff with it, I always have to pack another dark colored blanket, and I can't sleep well, because I'm so paranoid -__-'.  It's just a pain in general.

I'll give it some consideration... like you said, I'm not quite sold on the idea, pads are comfortable for me... but it would be nice to sleep a night without having to wake up at 4am and realize something went horribly wrong -__-'.

I put two back to back in my underwear when I sleep. Because it always leaks and runs back! Also, sleep with a towel under you so you don't mess up your sheets!

Yeah, that's what I do, except I have to do that during the way.  Thankfully though, always has finally come out with one long enough so that I only need one during the day (at least on most days), so that's kind of nice.

Lol, but I also bought black sheets specifically for this reason... and I have a certain kind of sheet under that so that I can't ruin my mattress :)  Guys don't even know how much thought has to go into these things :P
