I am pretty sure I have Bronchitis, and I have to go to work in about 20 minutes. I work at a nursing home, and I don't think I should be there if I am sick (seeing as I could get the old people sick) do you think I should try to get sent home early? I can't call in because I am still on probation (until I work there 3 months) and it is too late to call in. I'm coughing like crazy, and cough syrup isn't helping to relieve that problem, and I can hardly breathe. :(

Go get cough drops and one of those OTC inhalers. Try to get sent home early too. You don't want to kill the old peeps.

Damn, you wait til the last second. Well, I would just go in and tell them you think your sick... they'll either tell that ur sick then send u home then, or maybe u can be sent home early later.

I've already got cough drops and I can't buy anything else I haven't cashed my pay check yet, I was like this yesterday too, just not as bad as I am today.

I didn't intentionally wait until the last second, I just woke up about 15 minutes ago.

I would go in and tell them you're sick, and tell them you're going to try but you're scared of getting the people sick. Maybe they'll let you get off early if you talk to them, because at least you put in the effort.
