So, i'm thinking of taking mine soon, and what exactly do i need to do, like parking, three point turns, etc?

yield to pedestrians and don't pull out in front of anyone. basically, just remember to be a really defensive driver

depends on the state u live in. some make u parallel park others take u on the freeways

If you have to ask you shouldn't be taking it. Before you seek your full license you should be comfortable executing all aspects of motor vehicle operation with preparation.

I backed into a parking spot and parallel parked. The road test took me through a series of right turns, freeway driving, and left turns. Its really easy just watch your speed and check your mirrors.

Also, it doesn't matter how slow you go. You can go 1mph in a 30mph if you want. Just don't speed. On my first test I went through a yellow light instead of stopping. He [the tester] bitched at me but didn't take any points off. Just go slow and concentrate.

Another thing, I failed my first test because I hit the curb on my parallel parking. Usually, they have you parallel park behind a car that doesn't have a car behind it - so you have all the room in the world.

Go slow, pay attention, don't be nervous. You'll do fine.

IIRC nowadays females need to master giving "road head" before they are allowed to drive.

Eh, it IS different in every state.. But the basics of mine was; pedestrians have the right of way, backing in, they had to see that you weren't nervous driving (which i really was, but i guess i pulled it off), turns, if the speed limit was 35 and you were going 36 you had 3 seconds to bring it down to 35. Just simple little things like that.
