I was at Confirmation class and they gave us a newspaper on sex and abortion. It included detailed drawings of an abortion (which were bullshit) and interviews with people saying that having an abortion was physically painful, that every time they saw a kid they broke down in tears, and that abortion was against God. Yes, some people feel that way. But they were making it seem like every woman who has an abortion will hate themselves. And the sex part, my goodness. Apparently, condoms fail for white people about 48%, black people 60%, and Hispanics 78%. Sex ALSO makes people hate themselves. Apparently, having sex before marriage is going to get you an STD AND pregnant. I actually laughed out loud during the class.
