My parents used to be neo-Nazis. Well, my mom isn't any longer (though she is still racist, she doesn't try to justify it with 'science') but my dad still is. Every once in a while he'll drop a few comments but for the most part he's not really tried to force it on me too much (other than sending me anti-Jew pamphlets, books, and racial magazines [i.e. Resistance]). I got a letter from him today wherein he basically said he never wanted to influence me too heavily with it over the years but now as I'm growing into womanhood, he thinks it's an important thing I should be aware of. Cue the crap about how the reason I'm intelligent and beautiful is because of those who came before me. Then he goes on to say that those things are not a coincidence nor is it a coincidence that I'm white and how most great civilizations were created by whites. Ugggh on top of that he insults Christianity and encourages me to look into either Asatru or the Creativity Movement. It's just like /sigh. For so many years I have held my tongue because I respected that our conversations didn't consist of "Stay away from niggers and kikes" but now I'm finally going to have to confront the issue. I think I'll start off with how I voted for Obama. hah. Then throw in, "why you trippin' anyway, I'm not really even attracted to non-whites generally" lol

My Dad is racist as fuck and I can't stand it. Whenever we see a black person on the street/in a store/in the car next to us/on tv, all he ever does is call them a nigger. Whenever he says that, I call him white trash(he is, and I don't live with him so it's all good), so he usually doesn't say it as much around me, but it still pisses me off.

lol. well, my dad acts pretty racist sometimes, but idk. i've got a few friends who are racist, and i just ignore it. well, i brush it off anyway... i love all people, unless they specifically show me a reason not to like them. skin color is just that.. the color of your skin. it has nothing to do with a person's personality. good plan, though. xD Obama > McCain ;D

Wow, sounds like that sucks. Good luck, parents can be really tough to get through to. Hope it goes well.

I haven't been around my father long enough to know his views on sports, let alone his views on race but I'm pretty sure he dislikes/doesn't trust white people as a group, but is open to working with them or forming friendships with them on a more individual basis
