I have two questions. Is it possible for Muslims to completley love Jewish people, and for there not to be any hard feelings. And is it possible for Jewish people to love Muslims, and have no hard feelings. I mean if they ever do reach peace, do you think that the hard feelings towards eachother can disappear. I mean, I am a Muslim, and an Arab, I hurt for Palestine. And for me, Israel is basically the bad guy in this. But It is natural to feel this way. I mean, an Israeli is going to stand up for Israel, no matter what the case right? We can't stand against our own people. Two questions: Is it possible for Jews and Muslims to love eachother, and not just pretend. Number two: Is peace ever going to come between Palestine and Israel.

Stop equating Jew with Israeli and Muslim with Palestinian. It's dishonest.

No Palestine's will always hate Israel and Israel will always hate Palestine. Its the way its been for hundreds of years and its not going to end any time soon, if your looking to blame someone blame the UK for splitting Israel and Palestine into two separate countries instead of making it all Israeli way back when.

Israel hasn't even existed for hundreds of years.

Anything is possible in politics and love, but IMO, there are too many groups of people who think that that land should be theirs and have a religious or emotional connection to it. As much as I am for a Palestinian state, and as much as I think that Jews need a state due to what they've gone through throughout history, I think that its high time that the UN actually make something of themselves and make the area an international zone indefinitely until people realize that they've got to work out their problems instead of trying to blow them away with missiles and bombs.

Look, there is no moral high ground in this conflict. That was apparent from the get-go. Being a jew i feel a modicum of pain to say this, but Israel was not a good location for a Jewish nation. If the israelis valued life over land, then they would move. There will be peace, but only after one side has lost everything.

1. Is it possible? Answer: yes if it is possible but not probable at least not right now. For that a lot of laws have to change. Like those that forbid marriage between Palestinians and Israelis inside Israel, Those laws are so stupid and really they remind me of the Nuremberg laws in so many ways. http://www.onejerusalem.com/2006/05/15/divided-loyalties-high-court-upholds-mixed-marriage-ban/ If ppl who love each other can't even marry and live together then things are really fucked up. So how do you except ppl to even just get along with laws like that? 2. Is peace ever going to come to Israel? yes but for that to happen both Israeli and Palestinans BOTH would have to - Let go of the past and all grudges - See what is COMMON between them instead of what separates them - Be willing to make the first move towards reconciliation and friendship I know some ppl think Isarelis and Palestinians don't have a lot in common. But contrary to what they think there ARE a lot of Israelis who ARE semitic. Not all of them but many of them. But I guess the real problem is not even that. I think one of the problems is that because so many Jews have been gone so many centuries ago from the area sometimes they really have a DIFFERENT CULTURE than Palestinians at this point, especially the recent Israeli immigrants from Russia after the 1990s. They have a different look on life and ideas and thinking what is important etc... I also know some ppl think they are a different "race". But I don't even think that's the problem even if it's true. Are Indians and Pakistanis really different in race? Not that much. Yet they hate each other almost as much as Israelis and Palestinians. Sometimes even more. So the real problem is not even that but the fact that 1. Laws in Israel are unjust and retarded against Palestinians and NEED TO CHANGE 2. The Israeli gov and the Hamas gov are more interested in destroying each other than in making things positive and good for EVERYONE (even their own ppl). 3. People get stuck in keeping grudges and hate and don't want to forgive and do the right thing. Basically another problem is ppl who like to FUEL and INCREASE and MAINTAIN the difference and the hate and the conflict between the 2 groups for their own personal agenda (like the 2 members who posted just above me for example) I like Golo's answer the best among the posts here.

When you mix together facts such as 'jews' being such a tiny global minority with the fact that many religious jews oppose zionism, it then becomes hard to point to where most of the zionist numbers come from. Then again how many of those who call themselves 'jews' are even followers of the jewish faith?

"with the fact that many religious jews oppose zionism," Lmao. Many. Just the neturei karta. http://www.nkusa.org/ The united states and israel hold the majority of jews on the planet. It is really not that impossible.
