It was making me reallllllllly uncomfortable so I ignored the I love you part and told him I didn't care if he got drunk or not. I guess he didn't want that part to be ignored, so he texted me and asked me if I loved him. I told him no. I FEEL SO AWFUL.     And he tried to call me this morning but I ignored him and he texted me that we needed to talk about the fact that he loved me and I didn't love him back... I had pleasant enough relationships that fizzled out after about three months, and I don't have the crippling guilt! But you can just explain to him that to you "i love you" is a huge step. You need to feel like he completes you, or that you'd die without him, or anything that comprises your definition of love. No. I talked to him all the time though, and when we first started talking I had a boyfriend. After about two weeks after me and my now-ex broke up he told me he liked me, and a month after that he asked me out.
