Did I ever say its simple? No. I think that the UN, being successful in many cases, should enter this situation and insist on a solution. Ofcourse, it wouldn't be able to solve the conflict alotgether, but it isn't about the conflict anymore, it is about its consqeuences which are pretty apparent, and unjustifiable to the core. It is strange how Israel constantly asserts that "we are targetting Hamas", when the fact is that targetting Hamas, essentially means targeting the whole of Gaza. Back in 2006, Hamas was "democratically" elected. That technically means, that most of Gaza is either part of Hamas, as in supporting it or a hardcare protagonist of that party.
