I hate when n00bz not even n00bz make accounts for like 1 day and post nothing and then no one else can use their names. Like this for example. http://www.golivewire.com/forums/profile.cgi?action=a&member=1234 http://www.golivewire.com/forums/profile.cgi?action=a&member=nba http://www.golivewire.com/forums/profile.cgi?action=a&member=sports They should be deleted.. I mean look how old the accoutns are. If they were deleted it wouldn't hurt anythign and would open up new names... Thats all I'm saying.

I wanted a name that was taken by a chick who hasn't been here in like 5 years

I'm guesing it's either people creating new accounts so they can say they've referred a friend to complete their basic checklist, then forget to delete the account, or else spammers waiting to advertise stuff. I think LW needs a "clean up" feature, only accessible by davjs and trusted mods, to delete accounts inactive for more than a year.

I wouldn't say more than a year. Maybe 2 years or something. But I do agree that something like that should be made.
