Why don't you go to their website, and research them some more?

-- Posted by ZepplinBitch at 10:30 am on Jan. 2, 2009

I did look on the site, i've researched them alot alot on the web, i'm just wondering what real people might think of it. They're websire is fairly biased. I just found i wiki site that ranks Imperial above MIT for last year though!!!! It was ranked no. 6 in the world for my course :)

Imperial is one of the best universities in the world, ranking highly in the UK, 3rd, and in Europe. It specialises in engineering and science and is located in central London.

The Times guide rates it third best in the country.

Yes, very good university from what I have heard.

Go and look around before you decide though... just because it has a good reputation doesn't mean it's the right place for you. Make sure you know exactly what the course offers as well.

And congrats! =)

[Edit: just because?]

Its an amazing school for sciences. VERY well regarded and in such a nice part of London. Which makes it a very expensive place to live. But yes it is as good as people say it is.

Yes it is. One of the best for sciences in the UK, and ranks pretty well on the world rankings too.
