So, I'm definitely at a crossroad in my life, and I just can't figure out what to do.

I currently live in Sacramento, after moving here 4 months ago from San Francisco, where I lived for 2 years. I live in my sister's two-bedroom apartment which is now occupied by SIX people. I am definitely tired of the way I live in Sacramento, and therefore have several possible choices.

a) I could find somewhere else in Sacramento/San Francisco to live. As these are both places I have recently lived in, I already have myself settled into life here. But I dont' really have anything tying me to California except my place of employment, which I love.

b) I could move back to Nebraska, where I lived for 5 years before San Francisco. My friends who still live in Nebraska have informed me that the job market there is doing fairly well, and that I would probably be able to find a job very easily. My only concern is that if I go back to Nebraska, I'll never get out again.

c) I could move to North Carolina to live with my friend David. I know nothing about North Carolina, and have never lived there. My only connections to the state are 2 friends who live there. It's my best chance for a fresh start, and I have located a branch of my current employer in the area, so getting a job would be easy here, as well.

All the choices are alluring to me, as each has their pros and cons. Therefore, I am putting the question up to vote, which may help me decide which path to follow. Please state your reasons for your vote in a post. Bear in mind that this decision could define the rest of my life.

NC seems to be the best options..  Fresh start, good friends, assure employment

I vote for the Cali option. You have a life here, your sister is here, California is amazing. But if you move on your own you will still be starting somewhat anew, with a backbone of support, experience and reliability to depend on.
