So is rejection really better than not knowing whether the person you like, shares the same feelings for you?

This is targeted to the brave young souls who have tried and fallen

Personally I think it definitely is.

-- Posted by Daleacus at 3:40 pm on Jan. 3, 2009

I think so, then you get closure and can "move on".

Not knowing is confusing. Rejection hurts, but it helps you get over them faster.
Short and sweet.

Yes. If you don't know, the possibility that they do niggles at you and eats away at your soul.

Not for me.

-- Posted by CheyBear at 3:40 pm on Jan. 3, 2009

Yes.
If someone just says no, okay, you can start moving on.
But if you don't know, it might be in the back of your mind for quite some time.

I have a strange relationship wih rejection. I always end up falling for sweet guys who just don't outright say "no", so I have to constantly infer. It's a bitch, and I'd rather have somebody say, sorry, but no thanks, then drop hints everywhere in all direction. /rant

I don't mind rejection so much. It's bound to happen.

-- Posted by monkeydoodle77 at 3:46 pm on Jan. 3, 2009

Yes. It gives you closure, and it doesn't make you wonder forever.

-- Posted by LoveKay at 4:05 pm on Jan. 3, 2009

I think yes it is, because then you can calmly get over that person rather than months down the road, think about it again and how they felt about you.

I hate rejection.
So no.
