No on occasion I like to get into debates with them, I love to argue. But not with her it just feels too weird.

distance yourself as much as possible and find other things to do/ think about

-- Posted by stuffydays at 7:55 am on Jan. 4, 2009

yes, me and my boyfriend/best friend Shaun argue all of the time over the dumbest shit and then we both end up crying and apologizing about 20 minutes later!

-- Posted by MystiqueBeauty16 at 7:56 am on Jan. 4, 2009

Yes but we hardly ever argue

You detach yourself from that person, because if they really make you feel better you wouldn't feel like you were dying.

Find reasons to hate them. In the end, all you feel is anger and anger rules.

-- Posted by katjassidekick at 8:05 am on Jan. 4, 2009

I agree, I think it would be helpful :)
I've been bullied personally and I'm sure there are a fair few people on here who are in similar situations. So it might be good for people to know that.

smiles cuddles like kind of playing around and joking nudging n stuff

Cut them off.  If they're abusive and put you down all the time but still love them, never speak to them again.  That's what I'm doing.  Also, finding reasons to hate them is a great way to get over it, like katjassidekick said.  You'll be surprised how many flaws your beloved has.  If you can't make yourself hate them, try to push them away by being equally abusive to them; they'll go away on their own and you'll find a new reason not to like them!
