You should try others. If you still have blackheads it must not be working well for your skin. Also...getting a facial gets rid of blackheads really good! Its expensive but if you badly want your skin to be cleared then getting a facial monthly could be it.

Idk? I haven't heard that. Maybe its true...maybe not. I've heard benzoyl peroxide is bad for skin though. I def wouldn't use that!

I read it on yahoo, who knows if it's true? And I got the tip from Cosmo, and we all know Cosmo is always right ;) (about the benzoyl). Also, I've used it religiously for about six years now and I've never had the problem. I don't think that's long term though.

Lol, I don't read Cosmo. But to the OP, google "benzoyl peroxide bad for skin" and quite a lot of stuff comes up. I'd read about it before trying it out.

Or not. Just because YOU don't have a problem using it, that doesn't mean everyone else won't. LOL maybe you as well as the OP should google it to find out more about it. I choose to be a little picky about what I put on my skin!

Been there, done that. You really think you're the only one capable of typing shit in a search engine? I have highly sensitive skin. I figure if mine can handle it, anybody else's can. The only bad thing about it is that it CAN dry the skin out- but that's only if you don't have a good moisturizer. It's also pretty normal to get reddening the first time you use it. I'm a hardcore fan of this OTC stuff. Besides, benzoyl peroxide is found in dermatologist prescribed shit anyway. I also don't use it if there's nothing wrong with my skin. Only on major breakouts or blackheads. I'm sure if you were to glob a bunch on your skin three times a day that bad effects will occur.

DId I say you hadn't googled it? You said you read about it in Cosmo.. and that if it was fine on you then it would be for everyone else. I have sensitive skin and have had allergic reactions over products that shouldn't even be harsh on the skin. Everyone is different.

you're pretty much doing what you say that I'm doing. If everybody is different, then you shouldn't be saying that BP is bad for the skin- it's called generalizing.

Maybe I am, maybe I'm not... I said I have heard it is bad for the skin so I wouldn't use it especially without looking it up first. Whatever, I don't think its generalising to say that about freaking peroxide when its a fact that it can be harmful to the skin. It is used in lots of other things that I would NOT want on my skin including bleaching. LOL I'm done wasting my time with someone that just wants to argue.
