-- Posted by K r e s c e n d o at 3:28 am on Jan. 5, 2009 I was watching the 'Garden State' last night. It made me think about life. The little things we miss. We're so wound up in all this stress, pressure and panic, we don't realise the little things that are freedom. You wake up, and you stare at the ceiling, and the silence is so quiet, pressure builds up in your ears. You find someone you truely love. Maybe only recently, maybe two years ago, and you can't stop thinking about them. The feeling of every now-and-again, you think to yourself "I can't stop thinking about_______". Your heart speaks to you, in rhythmic beats, as if it's speaking to you in a language you never heard of, but you realise it. You understand it. There is no point in thinking about what life is, because we truely don't know what exactly it is. But enjoy it. Life is a gift, and I personally, believe you are born for a reason. Everyone has a reason. But we are so clogged up with the congestion of work and daily chores we no longer realise what freedom is. And when we do, we adore it. Well...some of us do. Freedom ranges from things like lie-ins, to even just being naked for a few seconds. The feeling of nothing. You look deep into the heart of a fire, and you fascinated in it. You can't help but mesmerizing it. Marveling how beautiful it is. or you look into space, and you can't stop thinking about how massive a star is, yet from where you are standing, it is nothing more than a pin prick. A fullstop in the horizon of Space. That's what life is like. We take it for granted, but you have to stop sometimes, and realise how beautiful it is, if you take away all the chaos, the stress- everyday things, and leave it bare of just life as a...thing.
