I have an appointment sometime this month with the gyno -makes note to call and find out when, exactly- and I want to switch to a different BC, besides the pill. I constantly forget to take it at the right time, once I actually got two days behind. I fear that this will eventually catch up to me and I'll end up pregnant. Any suggestions? Oh, and I would rather not get vaginal rings.

The implant is nice, because it lasts for several years and is extremely reliable. It can also be taken out at any time if you have a severe reaction to it. The shot is useful because it's just once every three months, but if you have a bad reaction to it, you have to wait the full three months before the hormones wear off.
