Ok I last had my period like 2 and a half or 3 months ago. it was super heavy and was really long (or at least seemed like it). im a virgin, and im not on birth control, or anything like that. down there is healthy and normal (i make sure). So nothing is really wrong. I've been on it for like 3 years now. And now all of a sudden its gone?   It just started to regulate. And now im scared I damaged something or did something idk. is there any food or anything to help get it to come? oh and I AM NOT GOING TO SEE A DOCTOR. my family isnt even close to being able to afford it right now. thanks gals

The only way to be sure something isn't wrong is to go use modern medicine.

There's nothing wrong. You sometimes skip, it's not a big deal. Just make sure it re-regulates.

Are you eating normally? Any sudden changes in setting? Stress? These could cause an irregular period.

But honestly, don't worry about it.

go to a free health clinic. like planned parenthood. I know you might not want to see a doctor but there are many clinics open for teens for free or for very little cost.

you can still call a clinic anonymously to get some sort of idea what's going on

Sometimes it does just stop, nobody tell me I'm wrong because I have seen it happen time and time again.
Mines is like a week late yay me!, but I'm sure its on the way.
Talk to somebody at school like a counselor they'll help with doctors and stuff well they do here anyways.

Um actually, im on varsity basketball and thats all we do is exercise. and exercise makes them lighter...

and like there isnt exactly any free clinics because the fact that its a small town. you have to drive forever just to get a doctor pretty much

A few years ago, my period suddenly disappeared for 4 months.  But it did come back and it was fine ever since.  I have no idea what caused it.  I wouldn't really worry about it, if you don't get your period after 6 months, then it might be time to see a doctor.  But anyways, it's probably stress or something like that.

-- Posted by HuffleHaire at 8:19 pm on Jan. 5, 2009

I only get my period every 3 to 4 months. It's been like that for years.

And I am not going to bitch at a doctor because I love every cramp-free second of it.
