Plug ipod into computer 2. Open itunes 3. Click on the menu option Help>ipod help 4. this will open a menu, and will take you though the five r's, follow the directions, and you'll be able to go through the r's and one of them will fix it. I'm pretty sure you have o toggle the hold switch first though.
