Physically, not at all. But people say you can get mentally "addicted" to the high it gives. I think it's a bunch of bullshit.

Psychologically for sure, that is without question. Anything I mean ANYTHING can be psychologically addictive. However there is some debate over its physical addictiveness. Personally I never experienced any sort of withdrawal symptoms and I smoked a quarter a day. Others say differently.

Listen. Weed is good. People get addicted to it because it is good. Lets make a list of all other thiings that are good McDonals Burgers Boobs Drive-in Movies Vaginas French Fries A sunset trench coats anal porn All these things are have the same oportunity for phsycological addiction that weed has. Unless you feel addicted to the things on that list, go and light up!

except weed is better than most of those so it's likely to be more psychologically addictive.

Yes. Like any pleasurable activity, weed is psychologically addictive. There is also growing evidence that when smoked very heavily (several times a day over a long period of time), cannabis is also physically addictive. Withdrawal symptoms are minor, and generally can include lack of appetite, irritability, insomnia, sweating, chills, lack of energy, and depression. http://www.nature.com/npp/journal/v29/n1/full/1300310a.html http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/press_releases/2008/01_24_08.html

Actually, caffeine is more addictive than cannabis. Cannabis is habitual, which means that you can get into the habit of it and when you stop you feel like something is missing. However this can go away quickly if you change your surroundings.
