my parents had cool jobs. Most of my friend's parents have cool jobs. Not mine though. My mom doesn't work and my stepdad is a retired corrections officer. Nothing that benefits me. It would be cool if my mom was a hairdresser so she could do my hair, or a teacher so she might be able to help out with school, or a doctor so she could take better care of me... So what do your parents do?

Both of my parents are florists. I guess the only time that benefits me is if a girl I like REALLY likes flowers or something.

Hmm. I tihnk you should be proud of your parents anyhow.. theyve been rasing you, feeding you, and giving you shelter. Though it would be awesome to have an ideal parent, we cant have everything..

My mom is a retired accountant and my father is an operations manager for an oil company. Most of my friends parents were doctors and I always thought that would have been interesting.

My mom takes care of people who have mental and physical disabilities. Most of 'em are just like big kids. It's sometimes fun to hear the stories she tells when she gets home. =)

My mom was a legal secretary and my dad was a statistician for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Nothing too exciting. My uncle, however, is a retired nuclear physicist who worked on top-secret government projects during the Cold War. At one point, he helped with the "Star Wars" missile defense project. And then he did resarch work in and around Silicon Valley, where several of his colleagues went on to win Nobel prizes. Yep.

My parents are not around any more. I have no wish to meet my father but mummy was a fashion retailer for haut couture. So I got to meet great fashion designers like Paul Smith and Giorgio Armani. Christy Turlington, that fantasic model best known for Calvin Klein's fragrances was a friend of my mother's, and so I got to benefit for some lovely freebies, like even a Chanel long sleeved top. Yes, my late mother had many amazing connections. But the great thing is, those close to her have kept into contact with me. No names, for reasons of privacy but I feel very privileged.
