At least one person comes out hurt after every relationship, if not both people. It's a given. But you can't say no to dating for the rest of your life otherwise you will never find the person who completes you. I don't think you should be freaking out over the fact that he said he would TRY to hang out with you. Perhaps he is busy with something... give him time.
