What is Love?

I found out it was when someone says your name, and just that simple name coming from them, makes you feel like you have arms wrapped around you, and sends a shiver down to your toes.

From my point of view love is showing any amount of affection for another human being.

love: it takes a second to say, an hour to describe and a lifetime to prove.

for me, love atm is feeling crushed when she mentions she's going to formal with another guy, 'as friends'

while standing next to a mutual friend who also has a crush on her who is also as deflated.

Love is not two halves making one whole, since that is divisive at best.

Love is not sexual attraction, as you can love your family members without being physically attracted to them.

(Romantic) Love is instead two individuals who have the desire and will to support one another in their endeavors and trials. These individuals love themselves as much as they love thier partner, and do not lean on thier partner (but always offer support).

As a good building has a sound foundation, love too maintains a balance of equal weight, equal struggle, and equal care.

This is how I defined love when I was 15, and I still agree with it.

Love is wanting to spend time with a person. Love is wanting to be the one they tell everything to, good or bad. Love is helping someone and being there through the bad times. Love is hugging whether you think someone needs it or not. Love is working to solve a problem that comes between you. Love is knowing that "life is a series of hellos and goodbyes", & you may have to say goodbye one day. Love is never forgetting someone.
