I tried getting off of drugs on my own before, but withdrawal just hurt too bad. I know it's time, though. I don't even know who I am anymore. Two years ago I never would have guessed that I would be addicted to heroin. I would have laughed in your face if you told me I was going to try meth. I would have punched you in the face if you told me that I would sleep with my dealer and his friends to score when I was low on cash. I disgust myself. I'm checking into an in-patient program halfway across the country. My aunt is driving me to the airport. I'm going to miss my dad, but I know that he probably won't miss me. I've disappointed him too much. I know that odds are I'm going to relapse when I get through with the program. I really hope I can get over this, though. I won't be able to go back home again, I'm pretty sure. I need to cut off all ties with everyone I hang out with. Christ, I need to pull myself together.
