I hardly ever see anyone ever receive fantastic results from weight loss (that has been achieved the old fashioned way and not from diet pills or surgery)

Does anyone have any stories about their weight loss experiences? How much weight did you lose? How much did you weigh before? Do you have any before and after pictures? How did you reach your goal/how long did it take?

I hope there is a lot of responses! It would greatly appreciated!!!!

I disagree....

I lost 4 stone growing up, simply with diet and excersise

A mate of mine recently lost 3 stone because she changed her eating habbits

We both think it isnt that difficult, its a case of breaking the cycle you're in and you're pretty much set....

bright lights by matchbox 20.
it's been my favorite for 4 years?

i love it because of the way it sounds.
it starts slow and picks up.
i also find it extremely easy to relate to.
it's about a guy whose in love with a girl and she goes away.
it can be interpreted physically or mentally.
and it basically describes his love for her and how much he misses her.
and how he wants her to come back more than anything.

"some things you don't need until they leave you, then they're things that you miss."

Well the most I've ever weighed was 180 lbs at age 12. The first 20 lbs. came off after I had jaw surgery and could only have liquids for 2 weeks then soft foods for 3 months. As I regained myself back to normal foods I made a concious decision to curb my eating habits. The summer after my surgery I rode my bike a little and lost about 15 lbs. When I started high school I began to become more active and got down to 145 lbs. This is what my body considers the normal weight without heavily working out and eating as normal as I could. I wanted a more lean body so I began running. I got down to 134 lbs, but my knees started to get really bad. Currently I am a senior in high school at about 140 lbs, and I am working out and just dealing with the pain. My goal is to get down to 130 lbs by prom, and by then I can't lose any more weight except maybe 5 more pounds before I'll be in the danger zone. The best time to lose weight is when you're a teen because you're body is adjusting itself and you have a high metabolism. I can't keep up with my metabolism. When I was younger I was not active whatsoever and was obese for most of my childhood.
