How does parents getting divorced affect their children's relationships. Do their children have a chance of a higher divorce rate or do yall think it would make it lower.

IMO, yes. And sadly, I'm a divorced parent.
I think that relationships are taught to children by their parents for the most part. Not just marital relationships, but all kinds- business, social, relationships with our neighbours, even our political systems (ie: parents don't vote or get involved, children tend to be the same)

Yes. My parents are separated.
I've lived my life seeing the two fight nonstop. All I ever seen between the two.
If that'd happen to me, no way in hell I ever want to get married.

They may get all paranoid and think that all marriages would end someday and they might get up to the point of being afraid to be in relationships.

it doesn't. technically, how the child is predisposed to react to such situation will affect the child's future relationship.

I don't think so. Not in all situations. Every child can think and do for themselves when it comes to their relationships--a parents' divorce is just an excuse.

Luckily, however, my parents separated when I was 3, divorced shortly before I turned 5. So I don't have too much of a memory in that category...and plus I've lived with my grandparents (married 48 years) nearly my entire life.
