I had a psychology exam earlier this afternoon (1:00-2:00). Well, half way through the fire alarm went off, and it wasn't an organised drill. We ended up standing outside the exam hall for 20 mins in silence (We wern't allowed to discuss the exam). Basically my trail of thought was screwed up, and it was shit cold outside, but I still got back into the exam and finished it.

The exam's officer said that the fire drill would be mentioned in her report, and we would get 'special leaniance' because of the distress caused.

Has anybody experienced this before, and will it affect the marks to any degree atall?

P.S We never found out what the fire was, but we heard fire engines and everything after the exam, it just happened in a different block to us.

I've experienced that before, and I don't think your mark will be effected at all. I mean, you weren't allowed to talk so I don't see why it would.

There was a few times I spent reading that stuff for a couple hours. I'm not into the drug thing too much anymore though.
