I'm pretty sure it's not working because I didn't charge it for the past month, but I want to be sure that I'm right before I start freaking out about all the other things that could have gone wrong.

I have one of Motorola's crappy phones. The new razor or rokr or what-not. They all look the same to me so I really don't give a shit what it's called. Anyway, to avoid paying 1000+ LE for an MP3 player (Or phone) I want this stupid piece of crap to work. I've never used it, so it shouldn't be broken. (The MP3 part. I've used the phone.)

Anyway, every time I plug it into the USB thing it blinks on and off, on and off, over and over again and Media Player wont acknowledge it. I feel bad because I just made the guy who's working at the front desk upload all my CDs. Bless his heart.

So my question is: Am I right about the not being charged thing and how do I upload it? Will Media Player be fine?

If worse comes to worst I have a CD player. I would just rather not have to carry the clunky chunk of plastic around everywhere constantly changing CDs out. This isn't the 90s, it's not cool anymore.

Oh, and does anyone know where I can get free music from? Not like downloading the whole album, but just songs from a few artists.

You need the computer drivers for it.

Go to Motorola's website and get them, install them, then plug your phone into the computer.
Windows media player works perfectly for Moto phones, I did it with my Razr, Krzr, and Rizr

You can get free music from torrents (illegal), friends (somewhat legal), p2p sharing programs (illegal).
