First, please spare me. Don't tell me I'm a fuckin fat ass and my body is gross. I know this... that's why I have the problem. lately, I've been OBSESSED with my wieght. I wanna lose weight, and I wanna do it now. I've lost 33 pounds since october. (I have a thyroid disease, so this is a really big deal). I wanna get back to where I was pre-baby, and then some. There are days I dont eat. Days I just drink slimfast... Then I have my normal days... but I feel like shit when I eat till I'm full. I dunno what to do. I wanna lose weight, but this cant be healthy.

it sounds like the precursor to an eating disorder. Go speak with a dietician, and get help for your obsession with your weight.

You're right, this isn't healthy. Losing weight is tough stuff, I understand. But you need to do it in a healthy fashion or you're just causing more harm to your body. You cannot go days without eating or just having slimfast. That actually will only help the short term. If you're not getting the nutrients and vitamins you need your body will start holding on to excess fat to try to find some, and you won't end up losing the fat. I know it's been said a million ways - but the safest and most productive way to healthily lose weight and maintain that loss is a combination of eating healthy and exercise.

If you do lose weight, do it the healthy way. I am slightly chubby myself, so I work at a decent pace to stay at my weight. Go walking with a friend. That is a fun and easy way to manage your weight.

No it's definitely not healthy. When people skip meals regularly, then they will ALWAYS eat more the next time they eat, so this actually, INCREASES your weight, if you're not careful. When you eat, you eat until you're full, but that's not the way to do it. Normally, you eat until you feel like you've had enough, not until the whole plate is clear. If you don't want to waste the food you didn't eat, then put less on your plate, or if you already did, then just put it in a container and into the fridge, for another time. If you're a sweet addict, then don't deprive yourself of the sweets, eat one, and one only, a day. Most people have something else instead of that chocolate, like a pie, then they say it's not enough, then they have a biscuit after the pie, but then they end up eating the chocolate in the end. So if you feel like eating chocolate, eat it, but only a tiny amount a day. Other than that, try riding the bike in the early morning, or evening, if your day is busy, and if you do it daily, for about 30 minutes, then you'll lose weight in no time. The trick is to be disciplinary, if you feel like doing work, or playing a sport, do it straight away, because from one moment to another you won't feel like doing it any more, which happens to me a lot. And if you think you're getting really obsessive about this matter, talk to a specialist, like a dietician, and he/she might help you with controlling this obsession. Otherwise you could end up with a disorder, which is bad. Never give up, you'll make it in the end!

If you want to lose weight, you need to incorportate exercise into your diet. And your diet must be consistent. While you don't eat, your metabolism slows down so when you do eat, the food doesn't get broken down as well and as fast. If you are overly obsessive about losing weight, it could be difficult to do it the healthy way. But losing weight and keeping it off isn't just about dieting and exercise, it is about changing your entire lifestyle, making that diet and exercise part of your life forever.

Slim fast is known to work-I don't know really. Instead of eating until you feel sickly full, take note of what you are tasting with each bite and chew them slower-this will make you more aware of your food digesting and stuff. You could also take your baby for walks, thats good for you pushing the pram and your baby for fresh air :)
