So how come I haven't eaten in 2days and had lost 1lb yesterday but checking my weight today I've gained that lb back!??! Hmm tell me what is up with that because I am so frustrated right now. I have drank water for 2days straight and suddenly I haven't lost ANY weight?!! Arghhh it sucks!

when you starve yourself your stomach produces more stomach acid so it can eat itself to survive. that is why starvation doesnt work. oh if you try vomiting all you'll succeed in doing is damagin your throat. your stomach will replace the stomach acid almost immediatly

If you're not getting the nutrients and vitamins you need from daily intake, your body clings onto your fat to try and get some. PLUS, if you aren't getting the fat and calories you body does need, it has to use the reservoirs. That's why camels hold onto fat and won't lose weight even when they can't find food or water for weeks.

Because not eating can actually make you gain weight. On the diet I am on, I eat tons, and the weight has been falling off.

To be absolutely frank, only idiots starve themselves to ''lose'' weight. The moment you start eating again you'll be gaining the weight you lost multiple times. Plus you'll be damaging your body, is it worth the effort? No. Educate yourself how to lose weight in a proper healthy manner with exercise and healthy food.

Don't starve yourself. Work out and eat. Starving yourself will only make you gain weight and its not healthy

Starving yourself the first couple of days, the weight just doesn't fall off of you at first. Drinking a ton of water; you may be full of water and if you go pee or something maybe that will be a couple of pounds.

I'm not going to tell you it is unhealthy because actually, that is called fasting and it is good for the body to do so once in a while to clear your body of toxins and heavy pounds of clogged up undigested food in your colon, and shed excess water weight that's been retained by excess sodium. However, you must weigh yourself at the same time every day and you must constitute some weight for the clothing you may be wearing, wet hair, etc. Also, if you weigh yourself after drinking loads of water and before you go pee, then that could be the water weight in your belly.

To clarify - fasting is okay for MAYBE a day. Not anymore. It can rid the body of unnecessary goods, but it should be done very infrequently and not for temporary weight loss.

It is actually recommended to do for three days if not done frequently.

because if you dont eat but drink alot of water, youre body holds that water in the cells and you gain back water weight.
