I'm interested in opening a bakery/cafe someday and I just want to know if you think this concept would work and if you would shop and go to somewhere like this. Here's the concept. It functions mostly as a bakery, with different kinds of breads, pastries, cookies, etc, all made from scratch. Those products are sold all day. People could also come in in the morning to get coffee and a pastry, and we'd also serve lunch, sandwiches/wraps, soups, salads, maybe pizza, burritos, that kind of thing. I'd also like to sell homemade salsas, pasta sauces, soups, and even prepared foods that people could pick up and heat up at home for dinner.

Sounds perfect, if the price is right compared to other places.

I like that idea...especially the part where you make your own product and people can buy it to use domestically.
