i don't think i'm fat or need to lose weight or anything, nor do i force myself to throw up, but i just don't feel like eating much. even if i'm hungry, i just tend to ignore it or just eat very little. i probably get under 1000 calories a day   i have days where i do eat more, but i guess 1000ish is about the average. is that an eating disorder or something else or nothing at all?

I don't much, either. I don't think that's so bad.

As long as you get nutrients or whatever

I'm curious to see the replies to this, because I'm the same way.

He doesn't have an eating disorder. But, you should see a doctor regardless if you believe it's problematic.

This is a direct quote from my ED sticky I am making.

"Eating disorder" is when a person eats, or refuses to eat, in order to satisfy a psychic need and not a physical need. The person doesn't listen to bodily signals or perhaps is not even aware of them. A normal person eats when hungry and stops eating when the body doesn't need more, when he feels the signal of satisfaction.

So in my opinion, no you don't.

i dont think so, but sometimes you lose your apetite b cuz there are prblems in your life at the moment. sometimes too much stress makes you not eat.

I don't think it's an eating disorder, really. But it IS unhealthy....i'm not so sure though.

It doesn't sound like an eating disorder to me, rather maybe something like lack of appetite.
