-- Posted by gnr90 at 4:15 pm on Jan. 8, 2009 I have had overdue tickets for a while now, and obviously my license was suspended...well, I paid the tickets, and they told me to give it 24 hours to let the changes go through... That was monday...it is now Thursday, and I went to renew my license...and it was STILL FUCKING REVOKED...they have "surcharges" on it which I had no notification of, that make me pay an additional penalty for three more years.... We went to the Municipal Court, and my mom talked to the woman because I was too pissed off...well, we had to pay an additional $900 that shouldn't have been on there...so, the total came out to $2500 paid, and I STILL can't get my goddamn license. They should fucking tell you about all of this when they give you the fuckin citation, or when you show up to court... So now I will have to save up money to pay my parents' the money they loaned me back, and pay for my truck...I was planning on going with my aunt and uncle to Florida this summer, but now I won't get to leave the goddamn city for three fucking years I hate the american government...bunch of lying, stealing assholes... -- Posted by Hexer at 4:17 pm on Jan. 8, 2009 WOW! Did you read it properly? I assume not. OP: Legally, they should have notified you of all this crap when you first got the overdue notice. Is there a way to appeal it without involving lawyers?
