-- Posted by sexii xo at 8:32 am on Jan. 9, 2009 so i have a cold sore on my lip that is almost healed now.  today i noticed that there feels like something in the corner of my right eye. i looked and there's like 3 little whitish dots in the corner of my eye.  i'm worried i might be getting a cold sore in my eye :(  like i don't think i made direct contact with touching my eyes after my cold sore.  however my cold sore touched my blankie and i think the blankie might of hit my eye or something. im really worried and scared.  do u think this might be a cold sore in my eye?  how long should i leave it? if it gets worse then should i go to the doctor?   -- Posted by Live Just To Die at 8:34 am on Jan. 9, 2009 You don't get coldsores anywhere else but your lip do you...? -- Posted by shadylanes at 8:34 am on Jan. 9, 2009 I have seen people that had cold sores in their eyes before.  You could get some medicine for it, as I imagine it's fairly uncomfortable.  I heard valtrex may become an OTC drug soon, but if you're in pain go the doctor. -- Posted by marshmellowman at 8:36 am on Jan. 9, 2009 I highly doubt it. It's not transferred that way, but you should go see a doctor anyway and get checked out to make sure. You can get them on your nose and near your eyes. My sister got that when she was a toddler, because she didn't really know not to touch it.
