-- Posted by kk327 at 12:50 pm on Jan. 9, 2009 My brother has a computer that came with vista on it... he doesn't really use it much, and only had a few major issues with the computer itself, which we don't know if it had anything to do with the operating system (they just replaced the computer twice because they couldn't fix it, but wouldn't tell us what was wrong either).   He claims, since hearing that there is a new windows out, he hates vista.   would it be beneficial to upgrade?  i mean, he doesn't have any issues yet, but he is going to have this computer for a while.   that being said, opinions? -- Posted by Dylan6405 at 12:52 pm on Jan. 9, 2009 Windows 7 is beta, It's not stable enough to be a primary OS yet, hence the "beta" -- Posted by ello paulie xx at 12:52 pm on Jan. 9, 2009 Just stick with Vista. Windows 7 isn't out yet, so it's probably not a good idea to upgrade unless you want to hassle with bugs and whatnot. I get a brand new computer for Christmas and NOW they're coming out with a new os? This pisses me off... It's claimed it is what vista was always meant to be. I've dabbled with it and it is a nice upgrade. I've just started downloading torrents, I'm still a little iffy about them. For some reason I'm scared of downloading the big files    lol
