(I posted a few days ago that he was very sick) I've never really had a real pet besides for him, but I love animals. What do I do now? I'm sad and I miss him... If I get a new one... My friend sat on his hamster and killed it. He also broke another ones's leg by moving a sofa onto it by mistake. I had a small animal similar to a Guinea Pig die only a month and a half ago. I cried, even though I only had him for half a year. Because of my dad, we didn't get another one. I would have wanted to, but he just flat out said not another one, because he thought it was stupid in the first place. I didn't argue much, and just went on with life. I'm fine now. I was sad for a few days, but then, I just realized that he isn't going to be around. I don't know if you would be able to let go that easy, because if so, I personally found it was not that hard not having one to care about anymore, but you might be even more emotionally attached, and want another. I would say don't get another one yet, let the old one's thought in your mind have peace first.
