-- Posted by murphy mcbagel at 8:22 pm on Jan. 10, 2009 Ok i need to know something: am i crazy? i think i am. what is going on?! my vision, i can't see things like i used to. when i was at work i get into the routine and like 20 times i gave the wrong change. im forgetting more and more little things. and the worst thing is my eyes. i told my dad it's like when you rub your eyes and it gets all colored, like your looking at spilt oil on the ground. that's what it's like for me all the time, except the colors are smaller, like the black and white fuzz on a tv thats not on a channel. it's there when i close my eyes its there when i open them. and sometimes when i look at something a shadow develops over certain parts of my vision, like my periphereal vision is in front of me. I CANT WAIT FOR THE 19th!! (when i get my fillings removed) how do i know this is even mercury? because no other condition has my symptoms. and there's the constant ringing in my ears and the noise in my head. i have been on every antianything for all mental disorders. its just getting worse. yes ive been to the eye doctor, the ear doctor, the doctor doctor, the it's in your head doctor, the it's what you are eating doctor, the it's your brain waves doctor, and a several pointless church excursions. please somebody help me im scared i have to make it to the 19th but the roads are bad, i can't concentrate (on LOTS of add meds) and yes i do wear my glasses and the same effect is there. i described it the best i can. please help me before i lash out at someone at work and get fired or sent to jail. -- Posted by katherine20 at 8:24 pm on Jan. 10, 2009 maybe you're going blind? just a thought... -- Posted by Jman19 at 8:25 pm on Jan. 10, 2009 Are you sure you don't need your glasses changed? There is a name for the things you are describing, but I've forgotten what. I get those too sometimes, but they go away. That sounds like hell.  My best guess- only a guess of course - is that maybe all the meds are interactign with each other. I had a friend who was on a truckload of them and needed a specilist to get her off the 2 dozen meds she was on and back to 3 or 4. Maybe you could ask your doctor about that. I doubt the mercury in the amalgam fillings is causing such symptoms or I'd be having them too. I've had no experience with the symptoms you describe except the tinnitus. I also assume you've been checked for glaucoma. The sahdows in front of yoru vision sound like 'floaters' though usually they aren't so pronounced. Nothing can be done about those and they are quite common.
