Until my computer started asking for the CD to be installed, which we no longer have. My step dad got a new computer, and the printer prints from there fine. Why would my computer have problems with needing the CD? Just go to the printer's website (if it's HP, go to hp.com, as an example) and try to find the driver. If you want, I'm sure someone could help you out if you can't find it yourself. Just tell us what printer it is.
