Fisrt of all, that's a pretty stupid thing to yearn for, and second, Amsterdam is a city, buddy.

If I wanted to throw in a third I'd say that the main means of transport within Amsterdam is with a bike and it's pretty tiring to go "all around" it.

It was a dream, just because you get them doesn't mean to consciously yearn for them. It can't be that big of a city that you won't be able to go 'all around it', it didn't all happen in a day.

I assumed this would be a trip in which you had a limited time span of a few weeks - as it'd most likely be a vacation of some sort while on a break from education.

But alright, I guess you win with the ability to imagine 'preset' restrictions and considerations

I've been to Amsterdam for about 5 days. That sounds more like a nightmare to me.
