-- Posted by Tasbard at 9:12 am on Jan. 11, 2009 So I had a dream. I was in my church's family room. Someone I know in real life but can't remember now swept into the room. She was my arch-nemesis and main rival in battle. Some kid who (apparently) had aspirations to the title of Wind-Warrior was there, and I told him that he should wait, as between me and the newcomer there was no better Wind-Warrior. Then we decided to battle to death. Well, newcomer and newbie both managed to lay their hands on serviceable staffs to fight with, but I had no luck, so I left. I saw one of my good friends smoking with friends- she doesn't smoke in real life, and she can't legally yet- and one of her friends was smoking a string of firecrackers. I ran over and told her, "It'll turn your lungs black." She didn't care. In the dream I had lost my virginity to her, and it made me really sad that she was destroying her body for the hell of it. She was really excited, too, like she was being accepted for the first time. Then, another of my friends who really did smoke, and also tried to commit suicide, walked by, smiling her sheepish smile. I gave her a distracted hug, then took a walk to clear my mind. I walked for a while, and then I passed a truck owned by the local radio station. It was playing the radio on loudspeaker. "Viva la Vida" started playing, and the DJ was muttering over it that "The thief played this song because he wants to think he can't be seen, but he can. We will find him and put an end to this," and all this other shit. I was confused, but after seeing some signs that were put up, I saw that someone had stolen something and hijacked local radio.  He changed the playlist to protest some changes to the local city website. The new forum was advertised everywhere- there was all this propaganda about it. And I remember thinking- is this thief real, or a publicity stunt?
