so ive had really bad knees for about 2 years.. recently its gotten wayy worse. my mom informs me today after we make a doctors appnt that the only way to fix a knee if something is very wrong is... surgery. im scared shitless that i may need my first knee surgery at 14 years old. i am really scared

it could just be growing pains your only 14 :) one of my friends thought she was going to have to have knee surgury but it was just a growth spurt :) good luck

I had my first 2 surgeries at 4 and 6. Its really no big deal, just the pain kinda sucks after. Its totally fine though!! You will be okay. [:

You'll be fine. I've had eight surgeries in the last year and a bit, and had surgery on my knee after a rugby injury years ago. It's not as scary as it sounds.

Oh wow...I know how you feel, I have bad knees too. But you may not need surgery, go to a bone doctor, or whatever, they'll let you know if you can correct the issue with certain exercises instead.
