when your emo levels are too high you have to cut yourself
-- Posted by asia lover at 8:33 pm on Jan. 11, 2009
When you cut it releases endorphins that gives people a rush I guess. It takes away the emotional pain and it does work. People get addicted to it because they begin to depend on it.

because they are fucked up.

It's because when you cut your body releases natural pain killers which you can get a temp high from.

Honestly, I can't tell you. It's something you have to experience to understand... the amount of anger and hatred you feel toward yourself to a point where the only thing to remedy it is to physically cut your skin open over and over... and after that first time- it's got a hold on you. Don't ever start.

There is also a chemical addiction factor. Your body releases an unnatural amount of endorphins to help with the pain. If you do it so much, you can be chemically addicted to it.
