I understand your relationship means a lot to you but do you understand how immature that sounds? Now ive said that i will actually give you advice. If you honestly believe there is no other relevant reason why he shouldn't be able to call you then no, don't break it off. Ring him, and ask him calmly to come over so you can sit and talk. If you talk it might solve some of the "rocky" issues. Don't leave it and dont talk to him. That will make both your lives a misery for the duration and it's what primary school children do. Communication is the key in a relationship. If you don't tell him you have a problem he might well never know.
