If you like for example on Apple.com/Mac you'll find the slider and the accordion and other things from YooTools. But it doesn't seem like them since they are a little different.

Plus, I would doubt that Apple.com would run on Joomla too.

Does that mean that Apple's designers just created those cool Web 2.0 scripts to be cool on there site?

When you've got things like the iTMS, .Mac/Mobile Me etc. You don't need Joomla. You've got the best web developers out there.

Apple does almost all of it by themselves (as mountainview says, those things are simple when they get into building mobile me, etc.) In fact, many user interface designers get their inspiration from apple. I'm sure some of those YooTools originated from people looking at apple's website. That horizontal scrollbar is a very popular design choice discussion amongst interface designers, especially because horizontal scrollbars are usually considered bad practice, but somehow apple pulled it off (so that it actually works).
